Cinema Pro Backpan upgrade

$4,500.00

Stabilization / Backpan upgrade for Cinema Pro remote head – Using an inertial sensor, this feature is for stabilizing pan and/or tilt. This means if the base is moving the camera platform will retain its position. The pan stabilization feature is often referred to as “backpan” for maintaining heading when moving a boom and for eliminating unwanted motion external to the head. This is not a high-frequency stabilization feature for eliminating jitter or sudden jolting action, it is primarily for backpan, maintaining heading and low-frequency disturbances.

Description

Using an inertial sensor, this feature is for stabilizing pan and/or tilt. This means if the base is moving the camera platform will retain its position.

How To Guide:

Start by Calibrating/Homing the remote head – on the main menu select “Go To,” hit enter, select “Home,” hit enter, it will ask “Ready to Calibrate?” then hit enter

Using a MEMS inertial sensor, this feature is for stabilizing pan and/or tilt. This means if the base is moving the camera platform will retain its position. To enable this feature, go to setup menu two then select “Stabilization”. In this menu there will be an enable/disable selection for both pan and tilt. Only after you reset the motor’s power, the stabilization will work.

Using the “Filter” option: If necessary the filter option is used to smooth out the stabilization response. The higher value (0-100) on the filter function, the more you’ll notice the effect.

The “+” and “-” symbols: On the right side of the screen there are two +/- selections for the pan and tilt motors. The +/- selection will change the direction the pan and tilt motors move during compensation. This is for calibrating the stabilization for your motor. If the motor is moving in the wrong direction while it’s trying to stabilize, switch to the opposite symbol.
